Module 2: Key Features of Tech Prep
Overview
The Carl D. Perkins Vocational and Technology Education Act defines a Tech Prep program as "a program of study that combines at a minimum 2 years of secondary education (as determined under State law) with a minimum of 2 years of postsecondary education in a non-duplicative, sequential course of study…" Along with the federal definitions of Tech Prep based on the Perkins Act, this module also describes key features and the essential elements of Tech Prep.
