Successes, Problems, Challenges		Module 9: Assessments & Portfolios Overview How will students' progress in learning be assessed? What is the evidence that we are making a difference? In this module, information is provided about differing ways to assess student learning. A primary focus is on the use of portfolios as an assessment tool: the characteristics, purpose, and possible components of portfolio; and discussion of how to start a portfolio program.
