Module 22: Essential Elements/Best Practices

	Overview

	This module focuses on the Essential Elements of Tech Prep that are required by the Perkins Act of 1990 and 1998. Each of the seven essential elements specified in the federal law is articulated in this module, plus an eighth element that the state of Illinois considers "essential", and that element is work-based learning. In addition to describing the fundamental purpose of these elements, this module identifies some of the most successful ways to implement them.
