Module 10: Preparatory Services & Special Populations

	Overview

	Preparatory services are essential components of a Tech Prep program. A systematic and progressive career development plan should begin with career awareness activities in elementary years and progress to the use of Individual Career Plans and connections with work places in the secondary and postsecondary years. In addition, care should be taken to insure that students who are members of special populations receive equal access to the full range of Tech Prep programs.
