Applicants to the department are screened by the department admissions
committee using a mix of criteria. The minimum requirements as listed
are used to form the basis of the admissions decision. The department
aims to admit students whose academic and professional career goals
are best served by the faculty and core courses offered by the department
and who will contribute to their field of study.
To this end, the admissions committee will carefully evaluate statements
made by the applicant which address their academic and career goals
and references which address the applicants academic capabilities
and leadership potential.
All applications must be processed by the Department of EOL and
the Graduate College or International Admissions. In order to receive
full consideration for admission, applicants are urged to submit
all of their application materials and other requirements to the
Department of EOL as early as possible before the deadline. It is
the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that the application
is complete and all materials are received by the Department of
EOL by the deadline.
